Reset My Motorola StarTac

Step 1:
Make a backup. Be aware you may lose data in the process of resetting your mobile device.

Step 2:
Press the "FCN" button. Then press the smart button. Press either the up or down arrow until "Lock Secure" appears on the screen. Then press the smart button. Scroll to "Secure Options" and press the smart button. Enter "000000" when the device asks for your secure code. Scroll to either "Master Reset" or "Master Clear." Master reset will take all options and settings back to their original factory defaults. Master clear will perform a master reset, and will also erase the phone book, timer and messaging memory. Press the smart key to make your selection. Press the smart key twice to confirm your selection. The StarTAC will now be reset.
