Step 1:
Make a backup. Be aware you may lose data in the process of resetting your mobile device.

Step 2:
Press and hold the Power button, Lock button and the Reset button for 10 seconds.
The Samsung Galaxy Note will come up with different boot options.
Use the volume down button to scroll and the volume up button to select recovery.
The Samsung Galaxy Note will power up.
Press the volume up button and volume down button together at the Android logo screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note will display blue text on a black background.
Use the volume down button to scroll down and the power button to select Wipe Data/Factory Reset and press the power key to confirm the selection.
Use the volume down button again to select Yes delete all user data and press the volume down button again to confirm
The Samsung Galaxy Note will then start performing the factory reset
Once complete, press the power button to confirm
The message rebooting will display
